When he founded Frezite, José Manuel Fernandes defined three pillars for the actions of the company: innovation, internationalisation and quality. Maintaining these three pillars has been the key to the success of the group, which has a turnover of 22 million Euros and exports 60% of its production. The company is still committed to the external market, on the basis of the need to "show a presence in the markets where the sector was", as Frezite had no competition in Portugal in 1978.
